I could have easily been voted “least likely to become a shaman” instead of “most likely to succeed” in high school.
I was the consummate high achiever, perfectionist, people pleasing good girl who graduated top of my class as the daughter of accountants from Pittsburgh (that’s me, my mom and gram at my high school graduation below).
Needless to say the world of shamanism and spirituality was not something I knew about, even heard of, or thought was accessible for me.
While I was busy setting 10-year goals, pursuing accolades and awards, life had other plans for me.
In my early twenties, I was named a “nagual woman” in the Toltec lineage by don Miguel Ruiz who wrote The Four Agreements.
“Nagual” means “formless, unseen” and when referring to a person, translates to “shaman” or “spiritual teacher and leader.”
After working with don Miguel for over a decade, I dove into the world of women’s wisdom and women’s circles, weaving the divine feminine into my teachings and way of life.
I still marvel at how deeply embedded healing, ceremony, sacred self-care, relationship to the land and shamanic journeying are in my everyday life.
For so long it felt risky to say – I am a shamanic healer.
Most offers and invitations I made involving shamanic healing were done in “secret” within my tight-knit insider-access-only community.
That time is over. I’m inviting you into my world (and some exciting invitations are brewing!).
I often have friends, even ones who travel in spiritual circles, ask me, “What is shamanism? What exactly is a shaman?”
A shaman is the spiritual leader and healer of a community.
While the word “shaman” originally comes from the indigenous peoples of Siberia, it was practiced under many names by our ancient ancestors all over the Earth – and continues to be today.
It can be translated into “one who knows” or “one who sees in the dark” and shamanism is believed to be first and oldest healing modality and spiritual path on the planet.
A shaman is said to be someone who,
as a way of life,
can stand with a foot in both worlds –
one in Spirit and
the other in every day.
So for the past 25 years, I’ve worked with women under the guise of life coach and business coach while “shamanic healer” and “nagual” was hidden in the background.
Many of you have been on this journey with me for years – witnessing me walk from Shaman Girl to Wanderlust Entrepreneur to Fully Shining Women Leading This World. Thank you for walking with me.
Some of you are newer here. Welcome.
By far, the most potent healing and sustainable growth within myself and my clients has come from shamanic healing.
My soul purpose is to guide women to remember and re-awaken your own ability to listen to your soul and weave the messages you receive into your everyday life.
Which is why I’m claiming who I am – and inviting you to claim who you are, as the unique artist of your spirit.
I believe we all have shamanic, intuitive and psychic abilities that we often hide from ourselves and from the world.
Yet these soul gifts are the ones that enable us to create lives that are filled with ease, pleasure, abundance, magic – and it’s finally safe for us to do so unapologetically.
Which is why as a shaman, I hold the space for YOU to become the confident spiritual leader and healer within your own life.
I’ve found this is the most rewarding, challenging and soul-aligned path you can walk.
So I invite you to come closer…
Let’s see what your soul remembers – and already knows.
If this calls to you, I ask you to please listen.
And if you are ready…
